Register For Our Next Masterclass at WHQR

WHQR and Chamber Music Wilmington present a Masterclass with The Quartetto di Cremona from Italy, on Sunday, November 3rd at 11am in the MC Erny Gallery.

Register HERE, before it fills up! (**Details below**)

Since its formation in 2000, the Quartetto di Cremona has established a reputation as one of the most exciting chamber ensembles on the international stage. Regularly invited to perform in major music festivals in Europe, North and South America, and Far East, they garner universal acclaim for their high level of interpretive artistry.

“BBT Fellowship” prize winners in 2005, the Quartetto di Cremona received by the Borletti Buitoni Trust also the “Franco Buitoni Award” (2019 edition) for its constant contribution to the promotion of chamber music in Italy and around the world.

Masterclasses are open to all ages. First preference for performers is given to musical youth,  students 9-18,  in the area who have been studying for at least 3 years, upon recommendation of the teachers. Adult amateurs are welcome to register, especially those who are continuing their lessons and feel confident playing in public.  Adults will be considered only after the younger student slots have been filled.  Usually there is room for 4 performers or groups total. The General Public is invited to audit the classes, but should also make a reservation, indicating that they’ll only come to be a listener so we have enough chairs for everyone.
