Ever slice through a head of purple cabbage or a lowly leek and exclaim "golly! that's pretty!"? Simple patterns created by repeated, stamped kitchen subjects make for beautiful and unique fabric design. Complete 2 large washable cotton tea towels for your own varied use or gifting.
Bring one favorite subject - a firm vegetable or fruit such as cabbage, green pepper, leek, apple.Students can swap and share.Dress for studio - inks will remain on clothing

Visitors will explore our new exhibition, Thomas Sayre: Four Walls.
Steve Kelly and Greg Stanley create worlds of shape and color in their geometric inspired respective works. Kelly's ceramics grab the viewer with elegant lines, circles, and pops of color. Stanley's paintings lean into a similar dance of tension created with black line, stark color, and imaginative settings.
'Chromatic Configurations' opens April 26 from 6pm-9pm as part of Fourth Friday from the Arts Council of NHC/Wilmington. If you can’t make it that night, this show will be up through May 18, 2024!
World labyrinth day is a world wide event promoting peace, prayer and meditation while walking a labyrinth. Participating labyrinths are Church of the Servant, Lower Cape Fear Life Center(Physicians Dr.) Harbor Way Gardens (Wrightsville Beach) and St. Jude’s Community Church on Market St.

Guests will meet at Pour Taproom (201 N. Front St.) and then depart with their treasure map on a walking team scavenger hunt through historic downtown Wilmington where you will use your mind and feet to follow clues, solve puzzles, and crack codes to find and unlock the treasure chest!
The hunt involves walking up to 2 miles in total and will take place rain or shine, so long as the weather does not become dangerous. The hunt typically takes about 60 minutes to complete.
Children under 10 years old are welcome to participate for free with the purchase of an Adult ticket.
