CFCC's 4th Annual Fall Lecture Series Presents Hip Hop 101: The Culture Origin of Mainstream Hip Hop Presented by Brandon “Bigg B” Hickman

Brandon “Bigg B” Hickman, a renowned pop culture historian and program director for WMNX—COAST 97.3 and WDAI - Kiss 98.5, will lead the discussion. This lecture will explore hip-hop’s rich history, creative resilience, and profound cultural significance. Attendees will gain insight into the genre’s evolution, its role in shaping identity and community, and its global impact on music, art, and social movements.
