Race start time is 9:00 a.m.; race day registration and packet pickup open at 7:30 in The Pointe 14 theater. Saturday packet pickup at Watermans Brewing (1610 Pavilion Pl, Wilmington) from 2-4 p.m. There is a virtual option available for those who cannot attend on December 10th. Our organization pairs able-bodied athletes with persons with disabilities who cannot complete a 5K unassisted, providing specially designed running wheelchairs so that these individuals can experience the thrill of participating in endurance events. Athlete riders participate free of charge. Runners can choose to register as an "angel pusher" to be paired with one of our athlete riders, or as an "in person" participant to run individually. Walkers are welcome! This race is our annual fundraiser to obtain funding to purchase new running wheelchairs and to maintain our existing fleet. All are welcome to join this event.
