In 2013, the folks who wanted to begin a Jewish Film Festival in Wilmington were careful: to test the waters, they presented just one film. Last year, they presented 4...and this year, the Festival offers 9 films over two weeks: 6 feature length films + 3 short films, all at Thalian Hall.
The festival begins Sunday, April 19 and runs through Wednesday, April 29 at Thalian Hall.
Peggy Pancoe Rosoff, Beverly Schoninger, and Bucky Stein are the original founders of the festival, so it was a treat to have them all in the studio to talk about the films this year. The selection ranges from Biographical-Documentary to Romantic-Drama to Suspense-Thriller.
The Wilmington Jewish Film Festival begins this Sunday, April 19 at 3:00. Films continue Monday & Wednesday at 7:00 + Sunday-Wednesday next week (April 25-29).
