Tyler Stevenson Senior Recital
TYLER STEVENSON, tenor, is a senior at UNCW pursuing a B.A. in Vocal Performance. Prior to UNCW, he earned his Associate in Fine Arts degree at Mitchell Community College in Statesville, North Carolina. While attending UNCW, Stevenson has performed in UNC WOOP’s opera scenes as Nemorino in Donizetti’s Elixir of Love, and in the role of the Sailor in Dido and Aeneas, and will sing Ferrando in scenes from Mozart's Così fan tutte at the end of April. He is currently the recipient of the Mary Ann and Spencer Everett Memorial Scholarship, and a member of the UNCW Chamber Singers. Stevenson recently performed in the ensemble of Opera Wilmington's production of La Traviata, and is a choral scholar at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. He will be attending Georgia State University this fall, as a candidate for the Masters of Music in Vocal Performance.
