UNCW PRINTFEST: Large-Scale Woodblock Printmaking Extravaganza will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2025, from 10:00-2:00 p.m. in the parking lot of the Cultural Arts building on the campus of UNCW.

UNCW’s Art & Art History Department is hosting the 5th Biennial Printfest event. Printfest is a public printmaking showcase presented outside of the Cultural Arts building on the campus of UNCW. Using a sod roller and an unlikely press bed – the parking lot of the Cultural Arts building – a team of artists and volunteers will be printing 2’x2’ woodcuts throughout the day. A range of artists from our local community, UNCW, and CFCC will carve designs into wood, which will be inked and printed before a live audience. There will also be plenty of hands-on printmaking activities for attendees of all ages. The large, unique prints will be for sale during the event.
