Wishlist

With every accomplishment comes a whole new set of challenges, and WHQR has its fair share of both. But the promise of a brighter day is always just around the corner - with the help of a hopeful wish list:

• Functioning, flat-screen, LCD monitors for a couple of our offices, one of our production studios, and our control room. 19" or larger is necessary, and the loss of a couple of pixels on-screen is ok. Each monitor should have its own stand & cords included.

• Computers that are less than 3 years old and run Windows XP (or higher).  Unit should be fully functional and items such as hard drives, cd/dvd burners, etc. must be in 100% working order.  We'll wipe the unit of any leftover programs or files.

• Vocal, instrument, and condenser microphones. are utilized for a variety of projects here at WHQR.  Mind you, these are NOT studio-grade units that we seek, but live microphones typically used in a performance setting.
   
• External and internal hard drives help us create more storage space for audio files.  External drives of 320GB or more are welcome, as well as internal SATA drives (160GB+) to upgrade our office workstations.
   
• To a lesser extent, we would welcome extra microphone stands, speaker & XLR cables, and a flat-screen television.

Tips for donating...

• In the event that you prefer to document your donation for tax purposes, WHQR can provide you with a letter that details your in-kind contribution to the station.
   
• Please remember that your local Public Radio station is NOT a recycling center. All equipment must be in working order and fully capable of the function it was intended for.
