The program is the brainchild of Bottega owner and program host Addie Wuensch, local musician Jeremy Webster and WHQR's Vince Winkel.

“I love the idea of WHQR working with local community Partners,” says WHQR station manager Michelle Rhinesmith. “And with Bottega Live we’re highlighting young, talented, local musical acts that otherwise might not have the opportunity to be broadcast on a 100,000-watt public radio.”

Bottega Live airs in conjunction with downtown Wilmington’s Fourth Friday Gallery Walk.

“I want to showcase really good, original music people haven’t heard yet,” Wuensch explained.
