Patricia Moore

Patricia Moore, better known as Pat, was born in Wilmington, and her roots are definitely here. She lived and worked in New York for many years in the administrative and banking fields, then spent over eleven years of active duty military service in the U.S. Navy, giving her several experiences to share and to draw from. After her discharge from the Navy, Pat lived and worked in the Washington DC area for a few years prior to returning to Wilmington.

Pat has been back in Wilmington for over twenty years and is currently semi-retired from the regular work force. She has recently restarted her own freelance photography business, Pat Moore Photography & Accessories.

Pat values a well-informed community that also appreciates the arts, which is built through programs like those put on by WHQR. As a current resident of the Northside and an active contributor to local organizations, she is excited for the opportunity to incorporate local perspectives to the WHQR Board of Directors.

Because of her faith and personal values, Pat is excited to continue helping to build a strong community. She also considers herself to be a very civic- and community-minded citizen of our city and county.
