Classical HQR’s signal at 92-7 FM is off the air. We are working on diagnosing the exact cause of the issue and will move as quickly as possible to get it repaired, but we are hoping to have it fixed by next week. Chadwick Lee Roberts, Ph.D.

Community Advisory Board

Chadwick is an alumnus of the University of Southern Mississippi. He earned an M.A. in Film Studies from Ohio University and a Ph.D. in American Culture Studies from Bowling Green State University. Dr. Roberts is currently an Associate Professor in the Communication Studies Department at UNCW where he teaches media studies courses with a focus on new and converging media. He is a member of the Student Media Advisory Board and the LGBT Resource Center Advisory Board at UNCW and he teaches courses in the Women’s and Gender Studies program.

A native of Meridian, Mississippi, Chadwick has lived in Wilmington since 2007. He has served on the Sexual Assault Prevention Task Force for New Hanover County for the past 6 years. He is a lifelong supporter of public media and looks forward to working with the CAB to support the mission of WHQR.
