12-17-10 – Wilmington educator and civil rights activist Bertha Todd has just written a memoir called My Restless Journey. Todd was an educator in New Hanover County for nearly 40 years, and that time included desegregation. WHQR's Michelle Bliss had a chance to sit down with Bertha to discuss her life and work in Wilmington.

Book signings will be: today (Friday) from 4-7 p.m. at Elderhaus PACE at Canterbury (2220 South 17th Street); Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the Todd Family Home (114 Mercer Avenue, Wilmington); Tuesday (Dec. 21) from 7-9 p.m. at Pomegranate Books (4418 Park Avenue)
