A ceremony to commemorate the attack on Pearl Harbor is being held this Sunday in Battleship Park.
The Japanese navy made a surprise attack on Pearl Harbor 67 years ago that killed or injured more than 3,500 Americans.
The commemorative ceremony on Sunday will feature a keynote address by Congressman Mike McIntyre. He says the anniversary hits close to home.
"My dad served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and I'm so blessed to have him on this earth. He remembers what that was like, when that day occurred, that day that lives in infamy, as we know."
The event starts at 1:25 p.m. the same time Japanese airplanes unleashed their attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941.
