STNL!: "Into The Fog" Performs May 30th

The next edition of WHQR's Soup To Nuts Live! will feature Into The Fog on Thursday, May 30th at 8:00 pm (doors open 7:00 pm) in the MC Erny Gallery at 254 N. Front St. in downtown Wilmington. Price: $10 suggested donation at the door. Reserve a seat by sending an email to soup@whqr.org or call 910-343-1640 during regular business hours.

Now working out of Raleigh NC, the members of INTO THE FOG first formed their ensemble in late 2017 in Wilmington, focusing on the Telluride Bluegrass Festival in 2018, and making quite a name for themselves ever since. Brian Stephenson handles guitar & vocals, Winston Mitchell deftly maintains dobro, mandolin & vocal, while Derek Lane lays down bass & vocals. All three of these gentlemen have an extensive pedigree of music in their upbringing, each of them are multi-instrumentalists, and they've enjoyed flexing their creativity in a variety of genres leading up to this project. Their debut album, Wishin' It Would Rain, was released on February 22, 2019. Reserve your seats early for this Soup To Nuts Live! performance - it's going to be a wild ride!

A Wilmington resident since 1993, Lan began his tenure as on-air host for WHQR’s Front Street Blues in 2003, later adding operations and information technology to his duties, as well as production & logistical support for the long-running music series, Soup To Nuts Live!. He also provides images, video, and written content to WHQR.org.
