Monday night, several members of the WHQR's Board of Directors of Friends of Public Radio volunteered at Good Shepherd center. As you can see from our slide show above, they had a great time preparing dinner for the shelter and giving back to the Wilmington community. Judging by the quality of the photos it seems as though they were more worried about working hard than they were about taking good photos!
The mission of the Good Shepherd Center is to feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, and foster transition to housing. A hot meal. A warm bed. A return path to housing.
