We invite you to join Friends School of Wilmington and Island Wildlife - Cape Fear Region for a partnered event at Longleaf Center for Environmental Learning -- Tuesday, March 21st at 8:30 - 11:00. This workshop begins with a botanical hike led by biologist Jess Roach followed by an embroidery session with embroiderist Kevina Cassaletto. Hike the grounds at Friends' Longleaf Center for Environmental Learning and learn about nature. Then create art!

Although we expect to see a variety of flora, fauna, and fungi on our hike with Jess, Kevina's embroidery session will feature a favorite campus bird, the Yellow-bellied Sapsucker!

The workshop is offered at a $30 donation for members of Island Wildlife (a chapter of NC Wildlife Federation) and at $45 for non-members.
