CAPE FEAR MEMORIAL BRIDGE: Updates, resources, and context

Communique: Art, Nature, Music, & Games For All Abilities-"Kids@CAM at Miracle Field" Saturday

Chelsea Hall & Georgia Mastroieni

Cameron Art Museum has held the Kids@CAM program for 10 years now. Last year, the Museum partnered for the 1st time with ACCESS of Wilmington, the organization that manages Miracle Field, making sports and recreation accessible for people with disabilities. Georgia Mastreoieni, the Director of Youth Programs at the museum, was so pleased with the collaboration that she decided to do it again this year: Kids@CAM at Miracle Field is this Saturday, September 10, 9:00am-Noon. This event is an opportunity for youth and families of all abilities to play together through art, nature, and physical recreation.

Mastreoieni and Program Director Chelsea Hall from ACCESS joined us in the studio; listen to their interview above. The event includes at least 4 art activities, an obstacle course, games, nature exploration with The Ability Garden, and musical guests The Broccoli Brothers Circus. The event is free, but donations are accepted.
