Woman in Gold is the remarkable true story of one woman's quest to reclaim her heritage. Maria Altmann (Helen Mirren), an elderly Jewish woman who fled Vienna during World War II, returns to recover her family's possessions which had previously been stolen by the Nazis. Together with her inexperienced but plucky lawyer (Ryan Reynolds), Altmann embarks on a journey that leads her straight to the heart of the Austrian government and the U.S. Supreme Court. "It's a touching film that entertains with warmth and humor, while teaching us something about history, law and justice with enormous heart, subtlety and compassion, brilliantly acted and skillfully written, Is there anything Helen Mirren cannot do?" - Rex Reed, New York Observer
"Sometimes you know a movie is going to work in about three scenes. This one really works." - Wesley Morris, Grantland
