Pulitzer prize winning playwright Arthur Miller died on Thursday, February 10th, in his home in Roxbury Connecticut. He was 89. In 1949 Miller won the Pulitzer for ?Death of a Salesman?.

On this special edition of Art Reach, Scott Simpson speaks with Greg Johnson of Montana Repertory Theatre Company about Miller?s masterpiece.

?Death of a Salesman? would be his best known play but far from his last. That distinction goes to ?Finishing the Picture?. It premiered at Chicago?s Goodman Theatre just last fall, and was inspired Miller?s experiences filming ?The Misfits?, the 1960 screenplay Miller wrote for then wife Marilyn Monroe.

The cast of ?Finishing the Picture? included Stacy Keach, Matthew Modine, Scott Glenn, Harris Yulin, and Tony Award winner Linda Lavin. On the day after Arthur Miller?s death, Scott also spoke with Lavin about what it meant to work with a living legend.

Art Reach is heard weeknights at 6:30 on WHQR 91.3.
