Ghostlight: A ghostlight is a light which is left lit on the stage of a theatre when the theatre is unoccupied and would otherwise be completely dark. Some superstitions say that the ghostlight allow each theatre’s ghost(s) to perform on stage, while others say it is to frighten away the ghosts.
