Rhiannon Giddens is a singer and songwriter.  She plays the banjo and the fiddle.  She’s a storyteller, activist, and musical historian.  She’s also a founding member of the Grammy Award-winning Carolina Chocolate Drops -- inducted into the North Carolina Music Hall of Fame in 2016. 

Anne Langan from Friends of the Library and Leslie Hossfeld from UNCW tell us about an upcoming visit from renowned folklorist Dr. William Ferris.  His free presentation at 2:00 on Saturday, April 26 at the Northeast Library is titled The Storied South: Voices of Writers and Artists.
