Over 144 Wilmington artists have submitted one or more pieces for the Silver Arts exhibit Mother's Day weekend, held at The ArtWorks on Willard Street. The art will be judged on Thursday evening, and the exhibit opens to the public on Friday, May 8. On Mother's Day, Perry Smith will perform live music from 1:00-3:30.
This is a brief 3-day exhibit with over 500 pieces of art on display, including painting, pottery, jewelry, woodworking, quilting and more. Most of the work is for sale, but you won't be able to buy the winning pieces-those will be heading to Raleigh for the State Finals.
