Monday, June 16th is Bloomsday, on which James Joyce fans around the world celebrate the book Ulysses and its protagonist Leopold Bloom. At Old Books on Front Street at 7pm, a portion of the play-within-the-book will be performed by marionettes! Jazz pianist/composer James Jarvis has written music for the show; Gina Gambony and Christy Grantham will work the marionettes created by Nina and Bryan Cournoyer. Bookstore owner Gwenyfar Rohler and musician James Jarvis tell us all about it.
