Michael Granberry: Winning Awards in LA; Back In Wilmington for "Tempest"

Michael Granberry won an Emmy Award for Individual Achievement in Animation last year for his work on Amazon's children's program, Tumble Leaf.  

He learned on February 29th that he has won a second Emmy for the work.  Another project Granberry worked on, Anomalisa, was nominated for an Oscar. Cinematique is screening Anomalisa March 21-25.

Michael Granberry is well-known in Wilmington for his work here years ago as an actor, director, and puppeteer.  He's back in town now as a guest director with Dram Tree Shakespeare's production of The Tempest.  Granberry will reveal some of his designs for The Tempest at the Meet-the-Director Partythis Saturday, March 5.  

Granberry spoke with Pat Marriott about his work in Los Angeles and his roots here in Wilmington.
