Yesterday, Saturday June 13, 2015, Engineer Jobie Sprinkle and Operations Manager George Scheibner made the final steps to improving 91.3's HD signal. Now, listeners with HD radios will receive both HQR News (HD1) and Classical HQR (HD2) throughout most of the 91.3 listening area. Correct orientation and location, plus an external antenna, may still be necessary.
IMPORTANT: this does NOT affect the 96.7 FM signal. To receive the HD2 all-classical channel, you must have an HD radio tuned to 91.3. Tune up to HD2. Both 91.3 and HD2 should be showing, as shown in the picture. Discover more about HD Radio here.
