This Thursday, 4/19, the annualPro Musica concert presents music by Andrew York and Jeffrey Van. Performers are Robert Nathanson (guitar), Nancy King (soprano), and Danijela Zelzelj-Gualdi (violin), joined by the North Carolina Guitar Quartet and UNCW Chamber Choir directed by Joe Hickman.
The concert is at 7:00pm at Cameron Art Museum. Tickets are available online or at the door.
Selections include "A Procession Winding Around Me" by Van, based on the Civil War poems of Walt Whitman. Selections by York are "Duo Sureno" and "Open a River," based on a poem by W.S. Merwin.
