Chamber Music Wilmingtonpresents the Jasper String Quartet this Sunday, April 23 at 3:00pm at Beckwith Recital Hall. This award-winning quartet has been a fan of Pulitzer Prize-winning composer Aaron Jay Kernissince they heard his music 7 years ago-specifically, a piece called "Musica Celestis," which is on the agenda for this afternoon performance. In addition to the 2nd movement of Kernis' "Musica Celestis," the Jasper Quartet will perform Schubert's "Death and the Maiden" and Haydn's Quartet in F Major, Op .77, No. 2.
