CoastLine: Reporter Round Table with Jon Evans of WECT / WSFX & Vicky Janowski of GW Bus. Journal

NPR
A Confederate flag that's part of a Civil War memorial on the grounds of the South

When a shark (or sharks) seriously injures two young swimmers near a local beach, a new company announces plans to provide a significant spike in jobs, or a community group demands the Confederate flag be banned in the county, it’s local reporters that bring you those stories.

In this edition of CoastLine, we talk with two key players on the local news scene.

Jon Evans co-anchors evening newscasts for the local NBC and Fox affiliates -- WECTand WSFX.  He also leads the political coverage for both stations, and he produces and moderates candidate debates.

Vicky Janowski is the Editor of the Greater Wilmington Business Journaland co-editor of Wilma, a publication focused on women.
