Cinematique Presents: "Step"

The film runs Monday, September 25th - Friday, September 29th at the Ruth and Bucky Stein Theatre. Monday - Friday the film will be shown at 7pm and another show on Wednesday at 4pm. "Step is life!" - More than just a hobby for a trio of high school seniors at the Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, the step dance team represents an escape and an outlet, a way out, and a way to express themselves.

Step documents the senior year of the step dance team against the background of inner-city Baltimore. As each one tries to become the first in their families to attend college, the girls strive to make their dancing a success against the backdrop of social unrest in the troubled city.
