Cinematique Presents "Boyhood"

This tender drama, starring Ellar Coltrane, Ethan Hawke and Patricia Arquette, begins with a 6 year old boy and follows the same group of actors over a 12 year period on a one-of-a-kind trip that is at once epic and intimate. Boyhood provides a vivid portrayal of the exhilaration of childhood, the seismic shifts of modern family and the inevitable passing of time. Critics are stunned at the breadth and depth of Boyhood's sprawling investigation of the human condition. (R, 2 hr, 44 min)

"The most engrossing coming-of-age movie in the history of the genre." John Harti, Seattle Times

"Tender, profound...in Boyhood, Mr. Linklater's masterpiece, he both captures moments in time and relinquishes them as he moves from year to year. He isn't fighting time but embracing it." Manohla Dargis, The New York Times
