June's Bottega Live features two Wilmington singer-songwriters: Kersten Capra and Johanna Winkel.

WHQR's Bottega Live airs each month in conjunction with downtown Wilmington’s Fourth Friday Gallery Walk.

Johanna Winkel is joined by Andrew West on percussion and Will Maxwell on violin. 

She’s a singer-songwriter who has performed all over the country, with a unique style that crosses over to Pop, Folk/Rock, Country and Blue-eyed Soul. Her influences are Sheryl Crow, Jewell, Bruce Springsteen, Michelle Branch, and the Goo Goo Dolls just to name a few.

She’s produced several CDs, available online at johannawinkel.com.

Kersten Capra is a native of the Cape Fear Region. This talented, soulful singer-songwriter plays piano, guitar, sings like an angel and writes profound songs.

Kersten's amazing music will soon be available online, and we'll post those links for you all when they become available. 

Bottega Live is an hour-long local music program airing every Fourth Friday from 8 to 9 pm on WHQR 91.3.

The program features local musicians, recorded live at the Bottega Art and Wine Bar, 723 N. 4th Street in Wilmington.
