91.3 at reduced power today for HD upgrade

A long-awaited power boost to our HD signal is scheduled to be implemented today (Saturday May 16). HQR News at 91.3 will be at reduced power beginning around noon while engineer Jobie Sprinkle and Operations Manager George Scheibner work on installing new HD circuitry in our main 91.3 transmitter. Once this is done, listeners who have had difficulty receiving Classical HQR on 96.7 should be able to hear 24-hour classical music on an HD radio tuned to 91.3's HD2 signal.
