Joanne Levitan

Community Advisory Board Member

Joanne served for eight years as the chairperson of an education counsel in Mt. Vernon, NY. She was also elected to serve as vice president of the executive board of her temple in Mt. Vernon where her background in systems analysis and economics proved to be extremely valuable.

Currently, Joanne serves as the Precinct Chair for the Belville 1 Democrats and has been truly dedicated to ensuring that all Belville 1 citizens are informed and represented on local issues. Joanne dedicates much of her spare time to supporting family and friends, participating in her community book club, and volunteering as a docent for Cameron Art Museum. There, she shares her love and enthusiasm for local artists and artisans with groups of school-age children several times each month. Joanne is constantly guided by her strong sense of community and background in business. She works each year to support low income citizens by assisting with free tax preparation services through the American Association of Retired Persons (AARP).

Joanne has an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
