Early Thursday morning the pedestrian bridge which connects the north and south towers of Wilmington’s River Place was lowered into place. It's 40 feet long, 13 feet high and now rests 74 feet above ground level on the north side, and 71 feet on south side.

The bridge’s weight is estimated at 30,000 pounds. The bridge will connect condominium owners in the south tower to rooftop amenities on the north tower.
Portions of River Place are expected to open in 2020.
Note: Access to the pedestrian bridge will be limited to residents and their guests.
