Wilmington, NC – Unemployment dropped in every county across the state. Numbers released Friday show unemployment rates ticking down a bit across the region.
Brunswick County saw the largest drop from 11.9% in March to 10.3% in April.
Columbus County continues to have the highest unemployment rate in the region at 12.6%, while Onslow County has the lowest at 7.5%.
