Wilmington, NC – Republican candidate for the 18th House District, Tom Goolsby, says he's pulling out of the race.
From the day he filed, the Wilmington attorney has maintained that he wanted to make sure former Democratic representative Thomas Wright would face a challenger.
But Goolsby says he feels comfortable pulling out of the race now that Wright is in prison and has been eliminated in the primary.
