We're so happy for former grad fellow C.R. DeVries on her recent marriage to WHQR volunteer Elise Seifert. They met on C.R.'s second day and Elise's first day as a volunteer back in 2018 when some of their orientation training overlapped.
This is the second marriage that we know of - that was born at the station. You may remember the Storycorps episode in which Ben and Beth Steelman describe how they met while volunteering at a pledge drive.
