Cinematique of Wilmington is a series of classic, foreign and notable films sponsored by WHQR and Historic Thalian Hall Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets to all screenings are available at the Thalian Hall Website or at the Thalian Hall Box office (Monday-Friday from 2-5pm and one hour before showtime). Admission is $9.63 ($7+ tax and $2.14 ticketing fee)Showtime for Cinematique Films is 7:00pm, plus 4pm matinees on Wednesdays (unless otherwise noted) at Historic Thalian Hall, 310 Chestnut Street. Cinematique Film Series Returns to Thalian Hall

With the start of Safer at Home Phase 3, Historic Thalian Hall and WHQR Public Media are pleased to announce the return of the Cinematique Film Series to the Main Stage at Historic Thalian Hall! With carefully constructed social distancing, reserved seating, enhanced service procedures, and extensive cleaning practices in place, we look forward to welcoming audiences again to enjoy the full movie experience on the big screen in beautiful Thalian Hall. Complete with concessions, wine, and local beer on tap.

Kicking off the with the funny and gorgeous comedy A Trip To Greece running this coming Monday - Wednesday (Oct 5-7).  

When Odysseus left Troy it took him ten years to get back to his home in Ithaca. Steve and Rob have only six days on their own personal odyssey in THE TRIP TO GREECE. On the way they argue about tragedy and comedy, astronomy and biology, myth, history, democracy and the meaning of life!

All screenings at 7pm, with a Wednesday matinee at 2pm (to allow for thorough cleaning between screenings). Reserved seating only. Tickets available here.

Mary Bradley moved to Wilmington from Los Angeles, CA in May 2007 with her husband Frank and twin baby daughters, Maggie and Kate. In California, Mary had been Drive Director and the producer of Elvis Mitchell's nationally syndicated public radio interview program "The Treatment" for public radio station KCRW for ten years. Mary was raised in Rhode Island and graduated from Boston University. Mary recently served as President of the Board of Directors of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Cape Fear Chapter.
