WHQR Boards

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors holds the FCC license for WHQR. They oversee the mission of the organization, adopt the annual budget, and hire a General Manager to run the day-to-day operations. The Board of Directors meets monthly, on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 4:30 pm at the station. All meetings of the Board of Directors are open to the public. Community Advisory Board

CAB is a body of active listener volunteers working to support WHQR by providing feedback about programming and services, and by promoting community outreach and education. Our meetings are open to the public.

Keep your eyes on this page for exciting news about the CAB as we endeavor to restructure the board to make it more responsive to the long-term needs of the station and its listeners. Your active support and involvement will be necessary and most welcomed.
