Become a WHQR 91.3 Volunteer.

We know that everyone has something unique to contribute, and we offer a variety of ways you can assist. Experience is not necessary to volunteer, just enthusiasm and commitment. We will provide training in exchange for your time and commitment. Volunteering your time is a great way to meet new people, gain valuable job experience and have some community spirited fun! Here are just a few ways you can volunteer at WHQR:

• Answer phones for on-air pledge drives.  (Our next Pledge Drive is scheduled for July 20th-23rd more details to come.)
• Receptionist duties at the front desk.
• Help facilitate our monthly gallery openings.
• Various clerical assignments.
• Assist with mailings in our membership department.

 WHQR is located in historic downtown Wilmington on Front Street between Chestnut and Grace.  Parking is available in the County parking garage on 2nd Street, next to the Library, and in the deck at the end of Chestnut Street.  On-street parking is metered during the day, and is limited to 1 hour directly in front of the station.
