The Soup to Nuts Live!
concert series features musicians and bands from a wide variety of musical
styles: from folk to blues, jazz to rock and more.Much like its inspirational program, Soup to Nuts (broadcast Saturday nights
at 9pm on WHQR 91.3fm), this concert series is both energetic and
eclectic.Soup to Nuts on-air host George Scheibner will interview the performers during breaks in the show.You'll hear the music and find out about the
musicians creating it.
All concerts in the Soup to Nuts Live! concert series are recorded before a live
audience in WHQR's gallery space for future on-air broadcast. Please join us for the pre-concert reception for lights snacks and drinks (beer and wine available).
The Casserole was formed late 2006 in Wilmington, NC when in a frenzy to find musicians for a last minute gig, members from multiple bands came together. The magic ignited on stage, and since then the flame has never burned out. The band, whose electric and acoustic sounds are a fusion of bluegrass, rock, reggae, jazz and country, has continued to evolve and gain the needed ingredients to create the perfect casserole.
