The Soup to Nuts Live!
concert series features musicians and bands from a wide variety of musical
styles: from folk to blues, jazz to rock and more.Much like its inspirational program, Soup to Nuts (broadcast Saturday nights
at 9pm on WHQR 91.3fm), this concert series is both energetic and
eclectic.Soup to Nuts on-air host George Scheibner will host the concerts and
interview the performers during breaks in the show.You'll hear the music and find out about the
musicians creating it.
All concerts in the Soup to Nuts Live! concert series are recorded before a live
audience in WHQR's gallery space for future on-air broadcast. Please join us for the pre-concert reception for lights snacks and drinks (beer and wine available).
Theresa Blue (born Theresa
Lindstrom) is a blues singer and songwriter. She has been performing for
over 20 years in venues from Virginia to Florida. Lindstrom sings about life's little joys and hard lessons in a throaty voice that crosses
the line between blues and bluegrass. She says that blues is "about
everyday people in everyday situations. It's a love gone bad. It's hard times
and hard work. It's about hopes and dreams and faith in God." Her new CD, "Roll of the Dice" includes fourteen tracks - mostly Theresa originals.
