High Quality Radio just keeps getting better and better! With recent audience polls and pledge drive feedback, WHQR has decided to reevaluate some of its musical offerings. Starting this month, I will be transitioning the bulk of music programming duties to current intern John Mortara. Though I will miss it deeply, I have been told that John has a good ear for what all the hip 20-somethings like to hear on the radio.

I am also pleased that I will remain as an announcer during the 9AM-1PM hour. By popular demand, the show will no longer feature classical selections. The new locally-hosted CRUST PUNK MURDER BLOCK will feature music from notable groups such as “Extreme Noise Terror,” “Doom,” “Cannibal Corpse,” and “Dirt.” As per John’s request, I will assume the on-air persona of Bobstein the Dragonslayer during our regularly-scheduled Midday Interview of arts community movers and shakers.
