Pat Marriott had the opportunity to speak with A.W. Hammock about his recent release, Night of the Hatchet. The biggest misconception about this book seems to stem from the title-this is not a horror story, but instead an adventure tale featuring a Delta Force operator with the nickname "Hatchet."
Hammock's advice for new writers: "Get your ideas on paper...you can always go back and edit the story later, but the ideas have a shelf life."
Listen to this engaging interview to get a sneak peek into the story, Mr. Hammocks writing experience, and his plans for future publications. The book is available locally at Two Sisters Bookery at the Cotton Exchange, and Pomegranate Books on Kerr Avenue, plus online at Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Lulu.
