New Cinematique Films Added For February 2012

We have an exciting month ahead of us at Cinematique. Four new film events have been added:

• Melancholia (Feb. 6 - 8) -- starring Kirsten Dunst, Alexander Skarsgård, Charlotte Gainsbourg,  and Kiefer Sutherland. Directed by Lars von Trier.
   
• Oscar Shorts (Feb. 13 - 15) -- Cinematique presents this nationally-touring film showcase highlighting the Documentary Short Films (Monday, Feb. 13), Animated Short Films (Tuesday, Feb. 14), and Live Action Short Films (Wednesday, Feb. 15). Film selections will be announced and listed at WHQR.org on Jan. 24.
   
• Carnage (Feb. 20, 22, 23 - Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) -- Starring Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and John C. Reilly. Directed by Roman Polanksi.
   
• A Dangerous Method (Feb. 27 - 29) -- Starring Michael Fassbender, Viggo Mortensen, and Keira Knightley. Directed by David Cronenberg and written by Christopher Hampton.
