The Brunswick Concert Band, made up of a 50 volunteer musicians from teenagers to retirees in their 80s, will give two Autumn Concerts this weekend - on Friday at 7:30 in Hatch Auditorium, Caswell Beach; and on Sunday at 3:00 in Odell Williamson Auditorium, Brunswick Community College. Selections wil include some famous marches, an arrangement of Christmas carols, and Richard Addinsell's Warsaw Concerto. George Bobeck will be conducting, and his wife, Jane Boberg will be the piano soloist. Donations taken at the door will support the non-profit band and help provide band instruments for music students in Brunswick County.
