During her 20 years with us Jemila Ericson has come to be thought of by many as the heart and soul of WHQR. Her soothing voice, her humor, her uncanny ability to pronounce challenging names in a dozen different languages every day, and her tender aura all make Jemila the irreplaceable Classical Host and woman that she is.
Jemila informed us recently that she will be leaving WHQR after her classical shift on Friday, December 26th at 1 pm. Please feel free to take a journey back over the past two decades with Jemila by checking out the slideshow above, and see below for how to send your comments to and about her.
What great things are ahead for Jemila? She now has her own in-home studio where she will pursue voice acting. She also plans on doing some storytelling, as well as spending more time in her second home, the theater. But most of all, Jemila would like to pursue her talents in animal communication and animal healing. For a woman who loves nothing more than children and animals, it's time for Jemila to be surrounded by the ones she loves.
Jemila would love to hear from you! You may leave a comment below this story. Or if you would like to send a note or a goodbye card to her please do by sending it to:
