We know you are inundated with mail asking for money this time of year. As a nonprofit, we really do understand how important those end-of-year donations are. Here are 3 things to ponder when considering a gift to WHQR:
- Appreciated stock: With the market gains in 2014, it makes sense for some folks to donate older stock. You may be able to see a substantial tax reduction for 2014 through capital gains reductions.
- Car donation: Some supporters have used donated vehicle to make gifts. If you act before December 31st, you will receive a $50 gift card. Call 866-WHQR-CAR (866-947-7227) to get the very simple process going.
- Legacy Society: In just one year, the Legacy Society has grown from 3 members to over a dozen! Please consider joining this special group by making WHQR part of your estate plan.
