Friday night is UNCW's Alumni & Faculty Showcase: The Minimalists at Beckwith Recital Hall. Rob Nathanson (guitar), Justin Hoke (guitar), Danijela Žeželj-Gualdi (violin), Michael D'Angelo (percussion), and several other performers will present music by Philip Glass, Terry Riley, and Steve Reich. Rob Nathanson talks about the performance and explains the importance of minimalism in the development of contemporary music. Listen above.

This performance is a fundraiser for music scholarships.
