Carol Reed’s classic masterpiece film noir based on the novel of the same name by Graham Greene has been beautifully re-released in a complete 4K ultra HD version for theaters (cut) in honor of the 100th birthday of iconic film icon Orson Welles. Aside from Citizen Kane, the The Third Man is considered to be Welles' best and most well-known films. This re-mastered version stars Welles as a black market trader playing his part in an increasingly tangled and confused maze of deception, betrayal and murder in the mysterious atmosphere of Vienna, Austria right after the Allied occupation at the end of World War II.
