Join us Monday, November 3 for a special screening event featuring a Q&A with filmmaker Ira Sachs. After the screening of his new film "Love is Strange," join us for an intimate Q&A with the filmmaker that all the critics are raving about.
Love is Strange: After 40 years together Ben (John Lithgow) and George (Alfred Molina) tie the knot in lower Manhattan. Just as quickly, George loses his job and the newly minted lovers are forced to find separate, if temporary, living situations. George takes up residence with two cops (Cheyenne Jackson and Manny Perez), while Ben is forced into close quarters with his nephew (Darren E. Burrows), his wife (Marisa Tomei) and their teenage son, Joey (Charlie Tahan). Sparkling performances by John Lithgow and Alfred Molina turn Love is Strange into a graceful tribute to the beauty of commitment in the face of adversity.
